Our hand cast, lead-free Pewter blanks are supplied either unfinished or polished, please choose the finish you require from the drop down menu.

  • Unfinished blanks are raw cast and require sanding and polishing.  Please see our Blanks Information page for tips on how to finish your Pewter blanks.  
  • Our polished blanks are sanded with various grits before being tumbled giving them a shiny finish.

Once polished our Pewter blanks have a shiny and organic surface making them ideal for rustic designs and emphasises the handmade quality of your jewellery. The photographs are for illustrative purposes, each blank is hand poured as such will have natural dimples & dips.

The last photograph shows the Large Pebbles, we aim to get these around 30mm but size and shape will vary this size is great for pocket pebbles.

They are lovely and soft to stamp on so you don’t need special stamps and unlike Aluminium have a good weight making them ideal for jewellery.

These blanks are not cast in a mould, they are made by pouring a ladle full of molten metal onto a flat surface to allow the Pewter to form it's own shape. As these blanks are completely freeform the shapes and sizes will vary the mix is between 15mm to 25mm, smaller ones are ideal for an initial or design stamp and bigger ones can stamp a small amount of text. You can now choose to have all large ones these are around 30mm again the shape is completely freeform but we aim to get them kind of round or oval-ish. The large ones are suitable for a larger amount of text or design stamps, they make fabulous pocket pebbles. Please make your choice from the drop down menu. 

The best way to make a hole is with a drill, dremel or power punch
